At this time, a big cloud of gas and dust collapsed and the most of the material fell to the center of the cloud. This resulted into formation of ‘the Sun’. Some of the condensing dust in the cloud became planets. Some objects in the ‘asteroid belt’ could not form into planets. There are lots of asteroids in our solar system.
